"People should think things out fresh and
not just accept conventional terms and the
conventional way of doing things."

I recommend two books Bronwyn and I read recently that are aimed at consumers looking to build or remodel. Both books reinforced things we already do and helped us to think about ways our business and industry can improve. Barry Lepatner's book "Broken Buildings, Busted Budgets" will give you a glimpse into the process of negotiating a building contract and how to improve on the way things are generally done. Sarah Susanka's "Not So Big Remodeling" is full of good advice for planning a remodeling project. - Kenny |

The picture above is a shot from a master suite we did last spring. What looks like a recessed light is actually a solatube sun tunnel. This was our first solatube and we were very impressed. It fills the room with natural light for a fraction of the cost of a skylight. |

We had a great summer at Buckminster Green. We worked on several interesting projects. A retaining wall/garbage can shed pictured above with stone walls and and a slate roof, a couple kitchens, a custom bar, some historical restoration work and two basements. |
